The NASTD,
the Association for Telecommunications Professionals in
State Government, is a member-driven organization whose
purpose is to advance and promote the effective use of telecommunications

The National
Telecommunications Cooperative Association (NTCA), "the voice of rural telecommunications," is
the premiere non-profit association representing more than
560 small and rural telephone cooperatives and commercial
companies. ACE*COMM is an Associate Member.

Mobile Alliance (OMA). The mission of the OMA
is to facilitate global user adoption of mobile

services by specifying market driven mobile service
enables that ensure service interoperability across
devices, geographies, service providers, operators,
and networks, while allowing businesses to compete

The
SIP Center is a portal for
the commercial development of SIP software. The
Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is a signalling
protocol used for establishing sessions in an IP
network. A session could be a simple two-way telephone
call or it could be a collaborative multimedia
conference session. The ability to establish these
sessions means that a host of innovative services
become possible, such as voice-enriched e-commerce,
web page click-to-dial, Instant Messaging with
buddy lists, and IP Centrex services.
TIA is a full-service national
trade organization with membership of 900 large
and small companies that provide communications
and information technology products, materials,
systems, distribution services and professional
services in the United States and around the world.
USTA is the premier trade association
representing service providers and suppliers for
the telecom industry. USTA’s 1,200 member
companies offer a wide range of services, including
local exchange, long distance, wireless, Internet
