ACE*COMM Announces No-Risk Proof
of Value Field Trial Program
ACE*COMM recently announced its "Proof of Value"
program for North American communications service providers.
This innovative program invites service providers to try
a risk-free field evaluation of N*VISION Go!
the rapid-deployment version of our industry-leading N*VISION
product.
With a quick deployment time of one to four weeks, N*VISION
Go! collects and processes network transaction
and usage data to quickly expose lost revenue opportunities
and to provide information for improving overall network
productivity. Under the Proof of Value program, service
providers can observe N*VISION Go! in their operating
environment and see its revenue-generating and cost-reducing
benefits first-hand, with no up-front commitment.
The Proof of Value program is targeted at integrated communications
carriers and traditional telecom providers who need to
organize their network usage data for consistency and
accuracy, assure their revenues by eliminating lost data
records and incorrect transmissions, and seamlessly introduce
new services without disrupting normal operations.
There is no up-front financial commitment. The cost of
the system is funded through the cost-savings and additional
revenues the service provider experiences. Typically,
our N*VISION customers experience immediate revenue benefits
in the range of $10,000 to $30,000 per day.
For more information on the Proof of Value program contact Nancy Horn at nancy.horn@acecomm.com

NetPlus®
Version 5 Released
Version 5 Includes New Features for Ease-of-Use and to
Help Reduce Cost Leakage and Network Overhead
ACE*COMM has released Version 5 of NetPlus, our enterprise
operations support and telemanagement system. Version
5 further improves the large enterprise's ability to track
network element types and locations, manage complex wiring
and mixed protocols, and verify carrier billing. These
enhancements directly affect the enterprise's bottom line
by reducing cost leakage and network management overhead
expenditures.
New features include:
Flex-eBilling: This feature allows for customization
of invoice styles. Management reports and graphs detailing
important, value-added information can be embedded within
the invoice, which can be output in HTML (Web) format.
NetPlus Studio: This is a set of tools for customizing
NetPlus screens, fields, and forms without requiring programming
or source code modification. Change the face of NetPlus
whenever the need arises through an easy point-and-click
user interface.
VoIP Support: NetPlus now supports data feeds such
as CDRs from Cisco Call Manager (CCM) 3.0. This enables
polling to collect and rate usage from the CCM and to
include it in the same consolidated bill as other usage,
one time, and monthly charges.
Advanced Vendor Bill Reconciliation: This feature
provides automated routines for verifying commercial carrier
charges. Vendor bills are compared against data from the
enterprise's network elements, and against inventory,
service orders, and equipment charges, as well as budget
and accounts receivable information stored in the database.
Discrepancies are highlighted for further action.
Security: Version 5 enhances the already powerful
security capabilities found in NetPlus, allowing for even
greater access control. Security is managed through a
point-and-click interface and permits access control by
group and/or individual, from the application level right
down to the form and field level.
